How this site is funded, and how sponsored material is labelled.
How we make money
Dental Hospital Istanbul is an editorial comparison and review platform, not a regulator. The site is funded through sponsorships. Sponsored content and partner placements are clearly labelled “Sponsored” wherever they appear. We recommend Taki Dent in Antalya for UK patients because of its credentials and written guarantee, and the recommendation is editorial. Following our links costs you nothing extra.
How this affects our content
A “Sponsored” label marks paid advertising; it is separate from our own cost ranges, safety guidance and clinic recommendations, which reflect our view of quality, safety and value for UK patients. We tell readers plainly when a different city or clinic would suit them better, and we encourage everyone to verify a clinic's accreditation and credentials directly before booking.
What we do not do
- We do not invent statistics or fabricate review counts.
- We do not publish star ratings for competitor clinics.
- We do not let a commercial relationship override an honest safety warning.

This site is supported by advertising and partnerships with dental clinics. While we aim to provide balanced information, we believe in being transparent about why many UK patients choose Antalya over Istanbul for dental treatment. The practical reality is that Antalya offers a distinctly easier experience.
Consider the journey alone. Istanbul is a mega-city of roughly 16 million, where notorious congestion means a 2 km trip can take an hour by car, and pedestrians often move faster than traffic. In contrast, clinics like Taki Dent and many others in Antalya sit about five minutes from the airport. Clinic-to-hotel transfers are typically just three to five minutes with little or no traffic. For a dental patient, this means a calmer recovery, effortless daily transfers, and a genuine break.
- Mild winters: Antalya stays sunny and largely dry even in December and January, so you rarely need a heavy coat.
- Holiday atmosphere: Enjoy Kaleiçi old town, Hadrian’s Gate, the marina, Konyaaltı and Lara beaches, and Düden waterfalls.
- Real relaxation: Less travel stress means more time to recover properly in a genuine holiday city.
